Hanger Blast Cleaning Machines
What is a Hanger Blast Cleaning Machine and What Does It Do?
The hanger type blast cleaning machine is a highly efficient surface treatment equipment used in surface cleaning and surface preparation processes. It is particularly utilized in industries such as foundry, steel construction, automotive, and defense to remove rust, burrs, oxide layers, and mold residues from metal parts.
Thanks to its hanger design, complex geometries or delicate parts can be processed individually or in groups without coming into contact with each other.
This not only prevents damage to the parts but also ensures that the entire surface is cleaned evenly and consistently.

How Does It Work?
The basic operating principle of the machine is that the parts are placed on a carrier hanger and loaded into the machine, where they are rotated in a specific cycle while their surfaces are abraded with steel shots. The steel shots, propelled by high-speed turbines, strike the surfaces of the parts, cleaning dirt, rust, or surface roughness. During this process, the parts do not remain stationary; instead, they are rotated to ensure that all surfaces are processed evenly. The abrasive material used is collected in a hopper located beneath the machine, filtered, and made ready for reuse—thus ensuring both material savings and environmentally friendly production.
Areas of Use and Suitable Part Types
Hanger blast cleaning machines are widely used for automotive parts (chassis, suspension components), cast parts, metal frameworks, welded structures, gears, and other equipment with complex surface geometries. They are particularly ideal for parts that need to be processed individually or in small groups, where surface quality is critical. In addition, they are an effective solution for surface preparation prior to heat treatment or cleaning before painting.
Machine Types
We offer standard machines ranging from 250 kg to 10,000 kg.
Upon request, machines of any size can be designed and manufactured.
