Overhead Rail Continuous Blast Cleaning Machines
What is a Overhead Rail Continuous Blast Cleaning Machine and What Does It Do?
The overhead rail continuous blast cleaning machine is an automatic, high-efficiency surface treatment system designed especially for mass production facilities. It is used in industries such as foundry, steel construction, automotive, and defense to effectively remove rust, scale, burrs, and other surface defects from metal parts—ensuring the desired surface quality before painting, coating, or assembly.

How Does It Work?
The machine operates on the principle of placing parts onto a carrier hanger and loading them into the system, where they are rotated in a specific cycle while their surfaces are abraded with steel shots. The steel shots, propelled by high-speed turbines, strike the surfaces of the parts, removing dirt, rust, and surface irregularities.
During this process, the parts do not remain stationary; instead, they are rotated to ensure that all surfaces are processed evenly. The abrasive material is collected in a hopper beneath the machine, filtered, and reused—resulting in both material savings and environmentally friendly production.
Areas of Use and Suitable Part Types
Overhead rail continuoud type blast cleaning machines are widely used for automotive parts (chassis, suspension components), castings, metal frameworks, welded structures, gears, and other equipment with complex surface geometries. They are particularly ideal for parts that need to be processed individually or in small groups, where surface quality is critical. In addition, they are an effective solution for surface preparation prior to heat treatment or cleaning before painting.
Machine Types
Our standard machines are available with hanger dimensions ranging from Ø1000 x 1000 mm to Ø1500 x 1500 mm.
Custom sizes can be designed and manufactured upon request.
