What is a Table Blast Cleaning Machine and What Does It Do?
The table type blast cleaning machine is a high-performance surface treatment system designed for surface cleaning, deburring, rust removal, and roughening of various industrial parts. It is particularly effective for blasting heavy, large-volume, or irregularly shaped parts in a consistent and uniform manner.
The machine takes its name from the rotary table mechanism on which the parts are placed. This table rotates the parts, allowing all surfaces to be processed evenly.
How Does It Work?
The machine is equipped with a rotary table. The parts to be processed are placed on this table and moved into the blasting chamber. Once the doors are closed, steel shots or similar abrasives are propelled onto the surfaces of the parts by high-speed turbines. Thanks to the rotation of the table, every surface is exposed to the abrasive evenly, ensuring a homogeneous surface treatment.
The used abrasives are collected at the bottom of the machine, separated, cleaned, and reused by the system. This cycle ensures both eco-friendly and cost-effective operation.
Areas of Use and Suitable Part Types
Table type shot blasting machines are especially preferred for processing medium- and large-sized parts. They are ideal for surface preparation of cast parts in foundries, welded and machined components in metalworking plants, and automotive parts such as axles, discs, and engine blocks. In addition, molds, steel plates, gears, and structural components used in heavy industry can also be blasted efficiently with these machines. They are suitable for both single-piece and small-batch production.
